Great service, delicious food! First time at the MP location, place is smaller than the one in Pasadena but everything is pretty much the same. Remember to check in to get your free ice cream

Delicious food and great service. They also offer a free dish of ice cream when you sign up with Yelp..A++

The reviews do not lie!!
Omg, I can't remember how I found this wonderful ramen/rolls restaurant, but I'm so glad I did.
They have great lunch combo specials, the ramen portion is a decent size, the rolls are delicious.
It's kind of small and Inside and it's definitely always busy. I would say to try to get there a little early then you originally plan. Street parking is limited, they have a parking lot in the back.

I stopped by here for late night sushi and it did not disappoint! The wait time was about 25 minutes which wasn't too bad. There is street parking along the side which made it easy to park close by. It's a small spot so not many people can fit inside. The sushi was so good and the service was even better. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. The sushi was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the tuna sashimi. 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

I stopped by for dinner on a random Thursday not anticipating a wait. So be prepared to wait, I think.
We shared the following:
-albacore sushi ($6.99 for 2 pieces)
-Philly roll ($7.99): salmon, cucumber + cream cheese
-Sunset roll ($14.99): spicy tuna topped with salmon, avocado, cucumber, green onion + sunset sauce
-green onion sesame chicken ($8.99): lightly fried chicken with spicy teriyaki sauce
I was hoping for some other Japanese-y type dishes like soba or agedashi tofu, but the menu at Kaiba is pretty basic. They also have a very limited selection of sushi. And according to the pictures, they used to have chicken karaage, however, the dish seems to have morphed into the current sesame chicken.
Everything we ate was pretty good. I thought the Philly roll was a lot more substantial compared to other versions I've had before. Again, everything was pretty good. However with such an insanely high rating with so many reviews, I guess I was hoping for something a little more authentic.
There's nothing particularly special or memorable about the sushi at Kaiba, but it does deliver with its sushi.

Solid sushi, order for takeout through the phone as it tends to be cheaper. Parking can be tight sometimes and the inside of the restaurant is not that spacious. It's a go to when I want a quick fix for sushi. My favorite is their spicy garlic albacore and their spicy garlic edamame.

Excellent. Had a great time with very fresh dishes. Beer was perfectly cold. Sale was nice as well. Highly recommend this spot.

Been coming here for years one of the best sushi spot around must try !!! The service is great lots of parking available

Been here a few times now and also have ordered for pick-up a number of times for home and work! Either way, I'm happy to say that Kaiba always comes through. It's a rather small place off Atlantic in MPK. It can get very busy, so be sure to go early or do take-out/delivery. Each time, the staff has been very welcoming, pleasant, efficient and responsive. These qualities are so lacking in many restaurants/stores these days...it is noticeable here and it is much appreciated. Must try: the Kaiba Roll! Tip: Yelp check-in is available for free soda, tea or ice cream! . Our friendly server even let us know about it, how nice of him! Food arrives quickly and has always been consistent. I'm currently addicted to their udon + tempura combination. What a great value...and the perfect combo IMO, if it's ever removed from the menu I'll be very sad. Parking situation: street parking in front or a small lot in the back. We can always count on Kaiba for a wonderful meal and friendly service. Great addition to the endless food options in this part of MPK/SGV!

It's really good, good service, the food is very traditional Japanese food, the plate is very big, price is reasonable, but no accept call appointment, by walk in.
